Janna McKhann
President
President of NexTech Systems, Janna founded the company in 1999. Janna primarily spends her time visiting customers throughout the region and assisting them by providing the best product recommendations for their transportation projects, and updating them on the very latest traffic technology products. Prior to creating NexTech Systems, Janna served in a variety of increasingly responsible positions in Engineering and Business Development with Rockwell International and Boeing for 14 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and puts it to great use as she facilitates our traffic technology projects.

Jennifer Harvey
Vice President
Jennifer ensures customers receive vital product, pricing, and design details, reflecting her commitment to providing excellent customer service and high-quality products. With over 30 years in the traffic engineering field, she fosters trusted relationships and crafts solutions to customers' needs. She joined NexTech in 2014 after serving as a marketing and business development manager at a Northern California traffic engineering firm. Throughout her career, she has closely collaborated with traffic professionals, gaining deep insights into various traffic product types and solutions, enriching NexTech's ability to serve its customers effectively.

Theresa McCann
Accountant / Office Manager
As NexTech's Accountant/Office Manager, Theresa oversees and manages the ordering, invoicing, receivables, accounts payable, customer service, and all key office and administrative functions for the office. Theresa has over 20 years of accounting experience with 5 years of management skills. Outside of her expertise in accounting, her great organization, time management, and quick-response skills are relied upon for the success of our day-to-day operations. Prior to joining NexTech Systems in 2021, she was a Finance Accounting Supervisor in the Medical and Dental industry.

With 26 years of experience in the traffic industry, Bill Taylor brings an unparalleled depth of knowledge and expertise. Passionate about creating innovative solutions for traffic management, he has consistently delivered impactful results, combining technical insight with practical strategies to improve transportation systems. Bill is dedicated to advancing the industry and supporting communities through smarter, safer, and more efficient traffic solutions.

Jose Garcia
Territory Sales Representative
Jose plays a crucial role, encompassing various responsibilities such as engaging with customers, managing accounts, offering product guidance, and delivering exceptional customer service. With 14+ years of sales experience, Jose adeptly assists customers in identifying their needs and supporting their projects. He pursued his education with a major in International Business and a minor in Marketing at Cal Poly Pomona, and shortly after, he embarked on his career in sales. Before joining NexTech Systems in 2023, he served as a Purchasing and Inside Sales Agent for a construction supply company and held the position of a territory sales representative in an industrial supply company.

Alexandra Apodaca
Territory Sales Representative
Alexandra Apodaca serves as an ITS Sales Representative at NexTech Systems, supporting agencies throughout Los Angeles County. She brings experience in traffic solution sales, distributor management, marketing, and customer relations. Prior to joining NexTech Systems, Alexandra worked at Wireless Technology Inc. (WTI), where she managed distributor partnerships and customer relationships across the United States, supporting projects and business development nationwide. Alex takes a relationship-focused and responsive approach, working closely with agencies, consultants, and industry partners to identify solutions that support transportation and infrastructure projects. She is committed to providing exceptional customer service and building long-term partnerships that contribute to successful outcomes.

Aaron Edwards
Bid & Proposal Specialist
Aaron provides an essential role in assisting with customers' project and design needs and providing product recommendation and advice. Providing excellent customer and "hands-on" support, he has 12+ years of experience in the Traffic Industry including design, manufacturing and field installation activities. This experience and technical knowledge are invaluable in helping customers fully understand both technical and performance issues associated with their projects. Prior to joining NexTech Systems in 2018, he was the Regional Sales Manager for a Radar Speed Feedback sign company.

Robin Cuty
Project Management Estimator
Robin serves as a Project Management Estimator at NexTech Systems, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the traffic industry. Recognized for her customer-focused approach and practical problem-solving abilities, she has built a strong reputation for providing dependable support and results-driven solutions. Her background in inside sales, estimating, and purchasing gives her a comprehensive understanding of project requirements, product sourcing, pricing, and client relations. Robin is highly regarded for her responsiveness, attention to detail, and long-standing industry relationships. She remains dedicated to supporting customers and vendors while helping drive successful, long-term partnerships at NexTech Systems.

Grant Gunterson
Sales & Technical Support
Providing sales, field, and customer technical support to customers is Grant's area of expertise. His primary function is to provide turn-on and field support, as well as acting as a liaison between manufacturers, city employees and contractors. Grant joined NexTech Systems in 2018 and regularly participates in IMSA courses. He is knowledgeable and has experience with a large variety of traffic device applications and is skilled at troubleshooting and repairing systems that have been damaged or are no longer working.

Olga Olivares
Sales Administrator
NexTech System's Sales Administrator, Olga, provides administrative support to our sales team ranging from order processing, preliminary information, waivers and releases and a host of additional customer service-related functions. Olga works closely with NexTech System's manufacturers and serves as a liaison between them and our customers, ensuring a smooth and consistent process from order inception to project close-out. Olga has over 20 years of experience working as an Executive administrative leader providing sales and customer service support.
ENGINEERING SUPPORT
A Valuable Resource For Traffic Engineers & Planners
NexTech Systems plays an important role in assisting traffic engineers during the initial study or design phase, aiding in the exploration of traffic application alternatives and best practices. We conduct site reviews to determine the most suitable products and address critical backup power requirements to keep things running during unexpected power cuts.
Throughout a project’s design phase, we assist with layouts, drawings, technical provisions, and specifications. Additionally, we provide no-obligation cost estimates for PS&E and bid packages, ensuring clarity in project planning. By collaborating directly with manufacturers, we guarantee that plans and specifications accurately depict the products to be deployed in the field, which is critical for success during construction and installation.

As NexTech Systems represents leading manufacturers across a vast range of traffic products, our customers can fulfill the majority of their traffic requirements with a single call to us. Frequently, we receive requests comprising a list of traffic products, often with urgent delivery timelines. To expedite delivery, we maintain stock of these products at our Irvine warehouse.
